Circles
A Circle is a small pseudonymous training group — up to twelve handles — built for the one thing group training is genuinely good for: turning up. Consistency is the leaderboard. Nothing else is.
Small and pseudonymous
Twelve handles maximum. You pick a handle; there is no real-name field, no profile photo, no contact import, and no way to search for someone you know.
Consistency leaderboards
Ranked on sessions completed against your own plan, not on volume, intensity or any performance figure. Someone training four short sessions a week outranks someone training two long ones.
Achievement-only sharing
A Circle sees that you finished week 6 of Deep Base. It does not see anything you logged. There is no feed of activity, because there is no activity to feed.
The rules, explicitly
What a Circle can see, and what it can never see
We share
- +Badges earned
- +Current and longest streak
- +Program completions
- +PQ movement (change, not raw subscores)
- +Your chosen handle
We never share
- −That a session occurred
- −When a session occurred
- −How long a session lasted
- −Who you trained with
- −Any log entry content, ever
This is not a privacy setting you can loosen. Session data never leaves your device in a readable form, so there is no server-side mechanism by which a Circle could be shown it. The strictest possible sharing rule is the only rule.
