Questions

The questions people actually ask

Training, measurement, privacy and billing. If your question is not here, write to us — we answer every message within one business day.

Training

Do I need a partner to train?
No. Four of the five capacities — endurance, control, mobility and strength — are trained solo, in the same way you would train any athletic quality. Mentality work is solo too. A partner only enters the picture on the session side, where activity is logged and scored, and on the Duo plan.
Is this for women too?
Yes, and not as an afterthought. Reference ranges, pelvic floor progressions and program structure are built for both. Pooled prevalence of female sexual difficulty sits at 47.8%, and pelvic floor and aerobic training carry evidence for women as well as men. Postpartum Rebuild is a dedicated block.
How is this different from a Kegel app?
A Kegel app trains one thing, usually one way: contract and hold. Control is one capacity of five here, and it is trained with contraction, speed and — the part almost everyone skips — the eccentric release. Around it sit aerobic conditioning, hip and thoracic mobility, positional strength, and mentality work. The systematic review is clear that pelvic floor training helps and that no optimal protocol has been identified, so we program it as one input, not the whole answer.
Is any of this explicit?
No. Every instruction is written in the register of a strength coach explaining a lift, and every diagram is abstract or anatomical. There is no photographic or suggestive imagery anywhere in the product.

Measurement

What exactly is PQ, and is it a medical assessment?
PQ — Performance Quotient — is a 0–100 fitness metric, the unweighted mean of your five capacity subscores. It is not a medical assessment, it does not diagnose anything, and it is not a substitute for talking to a clinician. Its job is narrower and more useful: to name your lowest capacity, so the next training block trains the thing that is actually limiting you.
What is SQ?
Session Quality: a 0–100 score for how good a workout a given session actually was. It weights time in the vigorous zone at 45%, average intensity at 25%, duration at 15% and muscular recruitment variety at 15%. PQ moves over months. SQ can move tonight.
Do I need a wearable?
Not for the assessment or the programs — those need nothing but you and a timer, and the timer is built in. A chest strap or watch is what unlocks live session mode, because measured heart rate is what turns an estimate into a record. Without one you can still log sessions manually.
Why does every calorie figure have a ± on it?
Because it is an estimate derived from heart rate, not a measurement. Frappier and colleagues measured 101 ± 52 kcal for men and 69.1 ± 25.6 for women across a mean 24.7-minute session. Publishing a bare number would imply a precision the physiology does not support — so the band travels with the figure, everywhere.

Privacy

What data do you store, and can you read my sessions?
Session data is local-first and end-to-end encrypted before it ever leaves your device, so the server holds ciphertext it has no key for. We cannot read your sessions. Assessment answers are held in your browser and are never written to a server unless you explicitly ask us to save a result.
Is this app store safe, and what is the age rating?
Yes. iSexercise is a fitness product, not adult content: instructional throughout, never depictive, with no photographic or suggestive imagery. That keeps it inside Apple's Guideline 1.1.4 and equivalent Play policy. It is rated for adults — 17+ / Mature 17+ — because the subject matter is adult even though the presentation is clinical.
Do you run ads or third-party trackers?
There is no third-party ad-tech or analytics SDK anywhere in the product. Consent-gated, IP-anonymised analytics runs on the public marketing pages only, and is blocked outright on the assessment and on every app surface. No score, answer or session value is ever sent as an analytics parameter.
What do other members see?
Badges, streaks, program completions and PQ movement — that is the whole list. Circles never show session occurrence, timing, duration or partner, to anyone, ever. There is no public activity feed, and members appear as handles with no real names and no photos.

Billing

What does the free tier actually include?
The full five-capacity PQ assessment, three starter programs, manual session logging and one Circle. No account is needed for the assessment, and the free tier does not expire.
What do the paid plans cost?
iSexercise+ is $14.99 a month or $89.99 a year and adds every program including mentality conditioning, live heart-rate session mode with SQ, full PQ history, the Raise Your SQ library, all Circles and Apple Health sync. Duo is $19.99 a month or $119.99 a year for two seats with paired programming and a shared streak.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep your data. Cancelling ends the paid features at the end of the billing period and drops you to the free tier — your log stays on your device, your PQ history stays readable, and nothing is deleted on our side because we could not read it in the first place. The one-tap purge is available to subscribers and non-subscribers alike.
How does Duo billing work if one of us leaves?
One subscription, two seats. Either person can leave at any time without touching the other's history or streak. The remaining seat continues on the same plan until it is changed.
