Programs

Blocks, progressions, retests

Every program is periodised like strength training, because that is what it is. You enter on your PQ limiter, you progress on measured output, and you retest on a schedule rather than on a feeling.

The five capacities in depth

Endurance

Aerobic capacity and vascular function. The single best-evidenced physical input to sexual performance.

What we train

  • Accumulated zone-2 minutes, progressed weekly
  • Two short threshold exposures per block week
  • Resting heart rate and recovery tracking

What the PQ measures

  • Weekly aerobic minutes
  • Resting heart rate
  • Recovery self-rating

Primary block: Deep Base · 8 weeks

Control

Pelvic floor strength, speed and release. Governs timing, continence and orgasmic control.

What we train

  • Graded maximal holds with full recovery
  • Rapid contraction speed work
  • Explicit down-training and release practice

What the PQ measures

  • Maximal hold (s)
  • Rapid contractions in 10 s
  • Release control

Primary block: The Control Block · 8 weeks

Mobility

Hip, adductor and thoracic range. Determines which positions are available and comfortable.

What we train

  • Loaded hip flexor lengthening
  • Adductor range under tension
  • Thoracic rotation and segmental control

What the PQ measures

  • Hip flexor extension
  • Seated adductor angle
  • Thoracic rotation
  • Active straight-leg raise

Primary block: Open Hips · 6 weeks

Strength

Posterior chain and trunk endurance under load. Holds position without fatigue or compensation.

What we train

  • Posterior chain hinge progressions
  • Anti-rotation and lateral trunk endurance
  • Position-specific isometric holds

What the PQ measures

  • Glute bridge hold
  • Side plank hold
  • Push-up position hold

Primary block: Two Bodies · 12 weeks

Mentality

Attentional control, arousal regulation and confidence under load. Trains calm presence without adding performance pressure.

What we train

  • Attentional control under rising load
  • Deliberate arousal regulation and reset drills
  • A repeatable pre-session routine for calm confidence

What the PQ measures

  • Return from mind-wandering
  • Arousal regulation
  • Confidence under pressure
  • Body awareness
  • Recovery from a setback

Primary block: The Quiet Mind Block · 6 weeks

Programming rationale for the endurance and control blocks follows the pooled trial evidence for aerobic[4] and pelvic floor[3] training.

The Control Block

8 weeks

Control

A Control limiter: short maximal holds, slow contractions, or difficulty releasing.

3 sessions/wk · 12 min · retest at wk 4 and wk 8

Deep Base

8 weeks

Endurance

An Endurance limiter, or anyone starting below 150 aerobic minutes per week.

4 sessions/wk · 25–60 min · zone-2 dominant

Open Hips

6 weeks

Mobility

Restricted hip extension, adductor range or thoracic rotation.

5 sessions/wk · 14 min · daily short exposures

The Quiet Mind Block

6 weeks

Mentality

Building presence, arousal regulation and calm confidence under load without adding pressure.

4 sessions/wk · 8–15 min · progressive attention drills

Two Bodies

12 weeks

Strength + shared

Couples training the same block together on paired programming.

3 sessions/wk each · paired progressions · shared streak

Postpartum Rebuild

10 weeks

Control + Strength

Rebuilding pelvic floor coordination and trunk capacity after birth, at a conservative rate.

4 sessions/wk · 10–20 min · clearance-gated entry
